Haste Arcade Sees Major Lift in Converting Paid Players Using Snapyr

Overview

Haste Arcade is the world’s first Instant Leaderboard Payout (ILP) gaming platform, which allows players to earn peer-to-peer rewards when they post a high score on the game’s leaderboard.  This is all made possible by their ILP Gaming Platform, which enables game developers to build their own ILP-based games.

Haste Arcade began working with Snapyr in the Summer of 2022. They implemented our REST API in roughly 2 hours and were ready to begin designing and building their first Snapyr campaigns.

Strategy & Goals

Haste has run over 30 different retention and engagement campaigns on the Snapyr platform, ranging from monthly newsletters, new game releases, and more sophisticated drip campaigns, which deliver specific messaging to players based on specific milestones they do or don’t achieve after signing up.  The goal of the drip campaign is to encourage players to connect their wallet and mint a player card, which turns free players into paid players.

Haste Arcade’s drip campaign triggers each time a user signs up for an account.  After the user signs up, a WAIT block is used to wait for 1 week.  After the 1 week, multiple nested IF blocks are evaluated to determine if a player completed certain events or not.

The first IF block determines if the player has played a game at least once.  If they have played, the player gets evaluated for the next IF block. If they have not played a game, an OTHERWISE branch is used to trigger an email to the player to redeem an offer for 100 free Nano plays, which does not require a wallet or payment.

For the users that have played a game, the next IF block checks to see if the game that was played was a paid game.  If the player played a paid game, the player gets evaluated for the next IF block. If they have not played a paid game, another OTHERWISE branch is used to trigger an email to the player with an offer to experience Instant Leaderboard Payouts.

For users that have played a paid game, the next IF block checks to see if the player has connected a wallet to their account.  If the player has connected their wallet to their account, they get evaluated for the final IF block.  If they have not connected their wallet to their account, another OTHERWISE branch is used to trigger an email to the player with value props for setting up a HandCash wallet.

For users that played a paid game and have connected their wallet, but have not minted a Player Card, an email is sent promoting the number of players that have redeemed player cards along with information and benefits for becoming a player card holder.

Additional workflows are set up to trigger drip messaging throughout the first 3 months of a user signing up.
